Message: A few years ago I broke the steel ban on my watch an took it to strawberry shop repair. I was missing some part of the links and was expecting a substantial bill, but was amazed on how quickly I received a call to come pick it up and shocked when the repair cost including parts was under $100. I now take all my watches to Jacob the owner because they do great work and are very fair with pricing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing watch repair or shoe repair.

Message: I have been getting my shoes fixed here since I moved to Marin almost 25 years ago. In perhaps 30 repairs I only had one single issue which was addressed promptly when I pointed it out.. In the other hand I have had all of my shoes (typically close to $1000 new from Church's or Alden) returned with workmanship comparable to original condition. Some of my Shell Cordovans have had a half dozen soles and still look great even though they are approaching their third decade.. This is Marin where rents and living is expensive. So if you are looking for the cheapest deal, I can understand why you might go elsewhere. But if you are looking for quality work you can trust and think those who provide a service to you should be able to eat as well, this is the place for you.

Funny thing about the spat of bad reviews looks like a hit job by a bunch of bullies and nimrods-dumb ones at that. Consider all these bad reviews were done on the same day. Really? Likely a group of people desperately trying to help their weirdo friend.. I’ve been a customer and neighbor for 30 years. They‘be fixed everything from leather goods and shoes, watches, made me keys etc. My family and I love the old school nature of the place, quality of service and personal touch.. I guess the message here is check the place out, write your own review. I highly recommend it!

Message: Love this little shop! Quality work by a craftsman.. I have had my very expensive hiking boots resoled. Less than 75% less than replacing the brand of boots. My very expensive gold and Diamond watch has been repaird. My deaceased dog, dog collar and leash were combined so I can wear it as a belt. (Crystal and suade materieals). I had a beautiful leather and silver plated thin belt fitted to the head of a hat. Great work. Dependable and Quality.
